Record Season Leads to Nine All-Conference Picks for Owls

Following an historic year in which Citrus College Women's Soccer finished 10-8-4 and secured the program's first-ever playoff win, nine Owls have been named to the Western State Conference South All-Conference teams.

Bridget Ward, Alexia Leon, Liliana Miramontes, and Aubrianna Mejia earned First-Team honors. Alyssa Quiroz, Liliana Macedo, and Jasmine Flores were selected to the Second Team, while Kailyn O'Hara and Mikani Telles received Honorable Mention.

Leon, a sophomore forward from Pacific High School, moved up to the First Team after an Honorable Mention campaign in 2024. She contributed four goals and four assists while registering 26 shots on goal.

Miramontes, the Owls' sophomore goalkeeper from AB Miller High School, was a force in goal. She played all 18 games, logging more than 1,600 minutes with 87 saves and six shutouts. After earning Honorable Mention last season, she climbed to First-Team status in 2025.

Mejia, a sophomore from Covina High School, transitioned from forward/midfielder to defender in 2025 and excelled in her new role. Her composed defending, timely tackles, and ability to spark counterattacks earned her First-Team honors. She also added a goal and an assist.

Quiroz, a sophomore midfielder from South Hills High School, earned Second-Team recognition after appearing in 16 games and providing one goal while helping drive the Owls' attack.

Macedo, a freshman defender from AB Miller High School, made an immediate impact with her speed and strong tackling, securing a Second-Team selection.

Flores, a sophomore defender from Baldwin Park, anchored the back line and midfield with physical defending and quality build-up play. She contributed both a goal and an assist.

O'Hara, a freshman defender from Walnut High School, earned Honorable Mention for her speed and reliability on the back line.

Telles, a sophomore forward from Chino High School, capped her lone season with the Owls by scoring two goals and adding four assists. Her precision on corner kicks and crosses created numerous scoring opportunities throughout the year.
