Women's Soccer capped off its regular season in style, defeating Glendale College 3–0 in Wednesday night's conference matchup, the Owls' final home game of 2025.
With the win, Citrus improves to 9-7-4 overall and 7-3-4 in conference, while Glendale finishes the season 0-17-3 overall and 0-14 in conference.
On Sophomore Day, the sophomores led the charge, accounting for all three goals. After a series of near misses early on, Andrea Meza broke through in the 23rd minute, finishing a pass from Alexia Leon to give the Owls a 1–0 lead. Nine minutes later, Bridget Ward tallied her eighth goal of the season, scoring off a perfect pass from Angelina Gonzalez through the middle of the Vaqueros' defense.
Just one minute later, Mikani Telles added to the lead, converting an excellent through ball from Jasemine Flores to make it 3–0, a score that would hold for the rest of the match.
Citrus maintained control throughout the second half, dominating possession and firing 10 more shots, though unable to extend the lead. The Owls finished with 21 total shots, including 13 on goal. Meza led the way with five shots (four on target), followed by Ward with four (two on target), and Leon, Mejia, and Barragan-Ochoa each adding multiple attempts.
Goalkeeper Liliana Miramontes was rarely tested but commanded the box effectively, clearing danger and organizing the defense throughout the match.
With a strong performance to close out the regular season, the Owls now turn their attention to the upcoming 3C2A Women's Soccer Playoffs, awaiting official seeding.
