Bio

Steve Jimenez, a Citrus College alumnus with a degree in kinesiology, takes over as head coach of the Owls men’s soccer program prior to the 2026 season. He previously spent eight seasons as an assistant coach for the Citrus women’s program, helping guide the team to a 2019 conference championship and multiple postseason appearances.

Jimenez brings extensive coaching success across all levels. At Cerritos College (2014–17), he was part of three state championship and two national championship teams. At Bishop Amat High School, he has led the boys program to two CIF titles and a state championship, earning three CIF Coach of the Year honors, while also guiding the girls program to three Del Rey League titles. He also serves as Director of Coaching for FC Man United, with teams capturing State Cup and National League championships.

A former player at Army and a two-time Montview League MVP at Sierra Vista High School, Jimenez and his wife, Carmen, have two children, Brisea and Jax. He enjoys traveling in his free time.
