Men's Soccer fell 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon at home to Glendale College, the Owls final regular season home game of 2025.
With the loss, the Owls move to 1-17-1 overall and 1-7 in conference play, while Glendale improves to 7-4-7 and 2-2 in conference.
The Vaqueros broke the match open late in the first half, scoring in the 20th, 26th, 37th and 42nd minutes to carry a 4-0 lead into halftime.
During the break, Citrus honored its five sophomores — Hector Arteaga, Alejandro Gomez, Richard Chanelo, Alan Morales, and Eddie Lugo — who were recognized for playing in their final home match at Citrus Stadium.
Citrus showed fight out of the locker room, generating five second-half shots and creating chances in the attacking half, but Glendale added one more goal in the 72nd minute to lock in the 5-0 result.
The Owls return to action on Friday, November 4, traveling to College of the Canyons at 4:00 p.m. Citrus defeated the Cougars 2-1 in their previous conference meeting on October 21.
