Owls Finish Sixth as Alvarado Posts Team-Best 74

Citrus College men's golf placed sixth overall with a team score of 315 at the Western State Conference No. 8 event Monday, April 21, at Soule Park Golf Course, hosted by College of the Canyons.

Javier Alvarado paced the Owls with a 2-over-par 74, tying for the third-best individual round of the day. Will Middleton followed with a 78, while Angel Caro added an 81 to round out Citrus' top three scores.

Andrew Gahshan and Thomas Holstrom each carded rounds of 82, with one counting toward the team total. Aidan Oria shot a 91.

Citrus will next compete in the Western State Conference Championships, hosted by Bakersfield College at Sundale Country Club on Monday, April 27.
