Owls Finish Sixth at Pt. Conception Invitational

Citrus College finished sixth at the 15th Annual Pt. Conception Invitational on Tuesday at La Purisima Golf Course, posting a two-round score of 640.

The Owls opened with a 313 in the first round before carding 327 in the final round of the 16-school event.

Will Middleton paced Citrus, tying for fourth individually with a 149. Middleton scored a 70, good for second overall in round in the opening round and followed with a 79 in round 2.

Andrew Gahshan finished at 158 after rounds of 79-79, while Cameron Vollaro posted a 164 (80-84). Javier Alvarado carded 85-85 (170), Aidan Oria finished at 175 (83-92), and Matthew Carbajal rounded out the Citrus lineup at 179 (89-90).

Citrus will compete next at the WSC #1, hosted by Glendale College, at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, CA, on Monday, Feb. 9.
