KJ Perry and Tyler Isaak Named to All-State Men's Basketball Team

Citrus College men's basketball standouts KJ Perry and Tyler Isaak have been named to the 2025 CCCMBCA All-State Men's Basketball Team after helping to lead the Owls to an impressive 29-3 record and a 3C2A State Championship Semifinals appearance. 

Perry and Isaak also earned spots on the 3C2A Men's Basketball State Championship All-Tournament Team after both players averaged over 20 points per game in the State Quarterfinals and Semifinals, solidifying their status as two of the top performers in the state. 

Perry, a 6-foot-3 freshman guard, was a force for the Owls all season, starting all 32 games and averaging 17.5 points, 2.8 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per contest. He etched his name into Citrus College history with a record-tying 48-point outing against Santiago Canyon last December, the highest single-game scoring mark in program history. His 14 field goals in that same game also set a new program record. 

On top of his All-State honors, Perry was named to the Western State Conference-South All-Conference First Team, capping off a historic freshman campaign. 

Isaak, a 6-foot-4 sophomore guard from Danville, was equally dominant, started in all 30 games he played in. He averaged 18.6 points (2nd in conference), 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game while shooting an impressive 56.4% from the field (3rd in conference) and 41.1% from three (also 3rd in conference). 

Isaak's stellar play earned him Western State Conference-South Most Outstanding Player, along with a spot on the All-Conference First Team. 

Perry and Isaak's leadership and scoring prowess were key in guiding Citrus College to one of its most successful seasons in program history.
