The Citrus Men's Basketball team continued its dominance over the Western State Conference East on Wednesday with a 74-67 road win over Antelope Valley. The Owls are undefeated in conference play in 2019, and are 15-6 overall.
Citrus was led offensively by Colby Orr who scored 17 points on 7 for 13 shooting and also dished 3 assists. Alex Cartwright drained 14 in the paint, snagged 5 rebounds and stole the ball 3 times. Josh Caston chipped in 12 points in the effort. As a team, Citrus shot 48% from the field but struggled from the arc, only making 16% of their three's. The Owl defense held it down, limiting the Marauders offense to just 38% shooting from the field and 13% from long range.
