The Bowl Blog: Give It Our All One Last Time

Throughout the week leading up to Citrus College Football's tilt with Saddleback College in the Beach Bowl, Citrus sophomore offensive lineman Blake Luevano will be blogging for citrusowls.com. Today's installment is the second Bowl Blog.

This last week of practice has benefited us as team, as we cleaned up any mistakes that we had previously made. It's helped us focus and get our heads cleared of everything that has happened in the past, and made us focus on the last goal of the season, beating Saddleback!

As this week concluded, it was the last practices of the year for all of us, and we knew that it had to be our best week of practice. It was just that. Everyday got better and better, and every repetition was crisper than ever before. All of us knew we had to commit to each other in order to know what we know how to do best; WIN!

I am excited to be in this bowl game, I hope all my teammates are as excited and amped up as I am to be here. We have been preparing for this moment since last season. Our mindsets our whole offseason was to get back to another bowl game and not disappoint. I believe that through this last week of practice, and thanks to the adversity we have fought through this season, we have put ourselves in great position to go out this Saturday and give it our all one last time as a team.
