Owls Set to Play At Saddleback In Beach Bowl
Glendora, CA -- The 2013 California Community College Athletic Association Bowl Games have been announced. The Citrus College Football team will be headed South to take on Saddleback College in the 2013 Beach Bowl at 5:00 PM.
It's the second straight season that the Owls have qualified for a post-season bowl, and their fourth in the last eight years. Citrus finished the regular season 7-3 yesterday evening with a 47-15 win over Los Angeles Harbor College. Citrus was also ranked #6 in the final regular season National Division Coaches Poll.
Saddleback College meanwhile went 5-5 and finished the season ranked #9 in Southern California. It'll be the first meeting between the Owls and Gauchos in at least the last decade. Stay tuned to www.citrusowls.com for all of your bowl coverage headed into this weekend's action.
