Sophomore Point Guard Jeremy Smith Breaks Citrus Men's Basketball Record

Sophomore Point Guard Jeremy Smith has broken the all time Citrus College record for points scored in a game last week against LA Valley. Smith, who is one of the top players in the entire state this year, netted 41 points en route to a Citrus win at the Chaffey Challenge Tournament in Rancho Cucamonga. Smith would also be named Tournament MVP as Citrus swept the field. 

Smith also ranks high in the state in several statistical categories. He currently sits at #2 in the state in total points (just 8 points behind the leader), #8 in points per game, #7 in field goals, #5 in assists, #2 in minutes played, #6 in minutes per game, #2 in free throws, #10 in free throw percentage and #4 in games started. 

Smith is a native of Temecula, California and attended Great Oak High School.
