  • Former Owl Dohy Drafted by Phillies in 16th Round of MLB Draft

    Glendora, CA - Former Citrus College Baseball player Kyle Dohy saw his professional dreams come true recently as he was drafted in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball Draft last week. Dohy was selected with the 473rd pick of the event, by the Philadelphia Phillies.

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team claimed their only conference sweep of the 2017 season on Friday afternoon with a 12-3 win over visiting Barstow College. Sophomore Roberto Baldanebro pitched a complete game, and the Owls racked up 14 hits in the win.

  • Bernal’s Gem Helps Owls Snap Four-Game Slide

    Glendora, CA - Sophomore Aaron Bernal pitched eight solid innings, giving up just four total hits, one run, one walk, and fanning three. His gem helped the Owls stop a four-game slide, and beat visiting Barstow College in the opening game of their final regular season three-game set with Barstow College 7-1.
  • Owls Swept by Cougars

    Santa Clarita, CA - For just the second time in the last 11 years, the Citrus College Baseball team got swept by College of the Canyons in their WSC series. The Owls last the final of four games to the Cougars on Saturday afternoon 7-1, giving Canyons four wins against Citrus this season.
  • Owls Struggle Against Cougars Again

    Glendora, CA - For the second straight game, the Citrus College Baseball team couldn’t quite get it going against College of the Canyons. The Owls struggled against the Cougars, surrendering 15 hits, while being held to just five in a 9-1 loss.

    Santa Clarita, CA - The College of the Canyons Baseball team continued its recent hot streak and jumped all over the Owls Baseball program on Tuesday afternoon in a 15-5 loss for Citrus. The Cougars scored 8 of their 15 runs in the first two innings and never looked back.
  • Owls Offense Disappears in Loss to Mt. SAC

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team had their “Spring Break” come to a close in disappointing fashion on Thursday when visiting Mt. San Antonio College clobbered the Owls 9-1. The Owls offense completely disappeared, mustering just six hits, three walks, and one run in the loss.

    Pasadena, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team completed their season sweep of Pasadena City College on Wednesday. The Owls used an eight run spurt between the fifth and seventh innings to secure an 11-9 win over the Lancers.

    Walnut, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team opened up their 2017 “Spring Break”, their annual week off from Western State Conference action, with a win at Mt. San Antonio College on Tuesday evening. The Owls used a big sixth inning, and then held off the Mounties down the stretch for the 6-4 win.
  • Owls Lose Series Finale to Victor Valley

    Glendora, CA – For the second straight week, the Citrus College Baseball team failed to finish a sweep of a WSC East foe, when they lost the series finale to Victor Valley College. The Owls managed eight hits, but stranded 10 base runners in a 5-3 loss to the visiting Rams.
  • Owls Squeeze Out Win in Victorville

    Victorville, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team squeezed out a 6-5 win in Victorville on Thursday afternoon. A squeeze by sophomore Garrett Barnes in the top of the eighth, allowed sophomore Kyosuke Ushimaru to score from third to give the Owls a 6-5 lead and eventually the win.

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team routed visiting Victor Valley College on Tuesday afternoon 19-6. The Owls scored in five of their eight innings, en route to the 13 run victory over WSC East rival Victor Valley College.

    Lancaster, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team failed to record a sweep on Saturday afternoon in a 5-3 loss at Antelope Valley College. The Owls had won the previous three meetings with the Marauders, but gave up four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and couldn’t secure the season sweep.

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team improved to 3-0 against Antelope Valley College this season on Thursday afternoon with a 9-1 win over the visiting Marauders. The Owls handled the game from the start, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first en route to the eight run victory.
  • Three Runs in Sixth Gets Owls Past Marauders

    Lancaster, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning, getting all of the offense they needed on Tuesday afternoon. Those three runs were enough to get Citrus past the host Antelope Valley College Marauders 3-2 in WSC East play.
  • Owls and Vaqueros Tie After Grueling 14 Innings | (Update) Owls Win in Bottom of 16th

    Glendora, CA - Saturday afternoon’s contest between the Owls and visiting Glendale College was called after the bottom of the 14th inning due to darkness. After over six hours of a grueling back and forth affair the game was halted and declared an 8-8 tie, unless the game affects the final WSC East standings at the end of the season.

    Glendale, CA – The Citrus College Baseball team dropped two games at Glendale College on Thursday afternoon and evening in what is shaping up to be a pair of crucial contests in the Western State Conference East Division race. The Owls finished up the halted game from Tuesday in Glendora, falling to the Vaqueros 16-8, and then lost the second game of the “semi” double-header 9-5.
  • Owls Get Back on Track with Win at Barstow

    Barstow, CA - After suffering yet another extra innings loss on Thursday afternoon, the Citrus College Baseball team got back on track on Saturday afternoon with a 7-4 win against the host Vikings. The Owls led early, and then held on late getting some breathing room in the top of the ninth to help secure the win.
  • Owls Fall to Canyons in 11

    Glendora, CA - In what felt like a game between two conference title contenders, it took 11 innings to figure out which team would be handed it’s first Western State Conference East Division loss. In the end, it was College of the Canyons who prevailed, knocking off Citrus College 5-4 in extras.

    Victorville, CA - After being shutdown on Sunday afternoon, the Citrus College Baseball team regained their form on Tuesday afternoon in WSC East play against Victor Valley College. The Owls recorded a season high 19 hits and scored a season high 14 runs in a 14-9 in Victorville.
  • Owls Bombed By Pirates; Snaps Five Game Win Streak

    Ventura, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team had their five game win streak snapped on Sunday afternoon when they headed to Ventura College for a make-up game of an earlier rained out date. With their regular rotation on the shelf thanks to WSC East play being in full swing, the Owls were bombed by the Pirates 9-1.

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team played their conference home opener on Saturday afternoon when they hosted Antelope Valley College. The Owls got a complete pitching staff effort in a 2-1 win, as freshman Peter Eitapence, sophomore Aaron Bernal, and freshman Daniel Guerrero combined to give up just six hits, one walk, one hit batsman, and one unearned run.

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team kept momentum firmly in their corner on Tuesday afternoon when they hosted SoCal #7 Los Angeles Mission College. The Owls rapped out 13 hits, surrendered just six of their own, and thoroughly controlled the game against on of the top teams in SoCal in a big 13-2 win over the visiting Eagles.

    Glendora, CA - After suffering another extra inning set back on Tuesday, the Citrus College Baseball team got themselves back on track on Thursday afternoon with a 9-4 win at home. The win was the Owls’ fourth in their last five games.
  • Fourth Time Not the Charm

    Monterey Park, CA - For the fourth time this season, the Citrus College Baseball team found themselves in an extra innings situation, and the fourth straight time it was because the Owls botched a 9th or 10th inning lead. The fourth time didn’t end up being the charm however, as Citrus fell to 0-3-1 in those situations in a 3-2 loss to host East Los Angeles College.
  • Baseball Makes It Three Straight With Win at MSJC

    San Jacinto, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team won their third straight game, a season high win streak for the Owls, on Saturday afternoon with a 9-2 victory at Mt. San Jacinto College. Sophomore pitcher Aaron Bernal entered the game in the fourth inning and picked up his second win of the season, while sophomore Marcos Campos drove in a team high three RBIs in the win.
  • Scott’s Walk-Off Pushes Owls Past Pasadena

    Glendora, CA - With runners on the corners and just one out in the bottom of what was already a wild ninth inning, Citrus College freshman third baseman Kristian Scott strolled to the plate. Scott who was 1 for 3 on the afternoon with a pair of RBIs, calmly belted the first pitch her saw through the right side of the field plating freshman Donovyn Curiel and giving Citrus a 6-5 win over visiting Pasadena City College.
  • Owls Snap Three Game Skid with Win Over West LA

    Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Baseball team snapped a three game skid on Wednesday afternoon with a 7-1 win over West Los Angeles College. Freshman Peter Eitapence and sophomore Roberto Baldenebro combined to more or less shutdown the Wildcats offense, while the offense did just enough to help secure the win.
